The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

This year Lakeside is participating in this great mission that has provided 220 million shoeboxes to children in 170 countries and territories. To learn more about the mission click here. We will have a table across from the connections table with shoeboxes and more information. Once your box is full bring it back to Lakeside, we will collect them and deliver them to an Operation Christmas Child collection hub, collection dates are November 3rd, 10th and 17th.
