Meet Steve Anderson!  Steve grew up in Minnetonka, loves the MN lakes, uses his hands to create things out of wood, dreams of a dust free wood shop, loves fishing, mountain biking and craves spending time with his family. He loves using things that are discarded and repurposing them to create something new.  Steve and his wife Daisy have two kids and love their community.  

Steve graduated from Bethel Seminary, St. Paul with an M.Div.  He is passionate about helping people live in the tension between life's bigger questions and faith.  He invites people to swim in the deep end of the pool and challenge their comforts.

Erin Damberger, Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Community Life

Erin Damberger came to Lakeside as an associate pastor in October 2023 after previously serving here as a pastoral intern. She served in music ministry roles in five denominations before the Lord called her to seminary and to pastoral ministry in the Covenant. She completed her M.Div. from Bethel Seminary and is thrilled to be serving alongside all the people of Lakeside.

Erin loves attending live concerts, doing yoga, hiking, watching movies, and meeting friends for coffee. She is married to DJ, and they have three daughters, one son, a big goldendoodle, a bearded dragon, and now honeybees.

Worship Leader (Open Position)

Lakeside Covenant Church is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Worship Leader in the fall of 2024. We believe creating a worship experience and the right environment invites people who are both near to God and far from Him to experience His grace, love and new life. Creating these experiences of worship, in response to who God is, is a powerful way people often take next steps of faith. The Worship Leader we are looking for might be you. Ali White, Admin Assistant

Ali joined the team at Lakeside during the fall of 2019. Ali is gifted in creating order out of chaos, managing details and creating a clear process for teams to be effective. Her role focuses on communications, assisting ministry teams with resources to reach more people and share the story of Lakeside.

Beyond this, she is, a mom to 3 great kids, married to sports fanatic named Derek and loves all things Marvel and DC.

Our Leadership Team is responsible for building, maintaining and overseeing the spiritual welfare of the congregation, as well as directing and overseeing all ministries and business affairs of Lakeside. The current Lakeside Leadership Team consists of Daniel Thiessen (chair), Linda Solheid (Vice Chair) Katie Rosenow (secretary), Connie Haarstad (Financial Officer), Rachel Friesen (Member at Large) and Ryan Heinsch (Member at Large).  Members are elected by Lakeside Partners during annual meetings.
